Our Revolution Monmouth is committed to working with movements like #MeToo that encourage and empower women to demand systemic change in politics.

There is a pattern of inappropriate behavior by men in NJ politics as evidenced by the recent Star Ledger article and yesterday’s Insider report on the NJ-4 debate. Our Revolution Monmouth strongly believes that candidates running for office need to engage in a respectful way towards women. Any toxic culture that marginalizes, denigrates, and silences women must end. Allegations of inappropriate behavior are taken seriously and are evaluated as part of the organization’s endorsement processes. Now more than ever we must live and practice our values everyday.

Our Revolution-Monmouth is the local chapter of Our Revolution. We are building grassroots political power by organizing the community around progressive policies and candidates.
